SCUTUM - HIGH SECURITY SHIELD - Special for metallic doors (series 10300) 

The lock cylinder is one of the main points of attack preferred by offenders and which should be effectively protected.

SCUTUM is a high-strength shield specially designed for narrow-profile locks in metallic fittings. It is a robust complement to protect the euro-profile cylinder against attacks by drilling, extraction, milling or leverage.

Reinforced
Manufactured entirely in solid carbonitrided steel with a revolving steel rotor for key entry and through-bolts for mounting the shield and counter-plate. The bolts extend through both lock and door to provide a strong, safe structural anchor.  

Compatibility
The SCUTUM shield is highly compatible with the majority of the single-point and multi-point locks on the market.  

Installation
It is suitable for installation in euro-profile cylinders with less than 18 mm protrusion and for most locks on the narrow profile market with entry from 25 mm. It requires prior machining on the outside of the door for installation of the anti-snap component.
